I've tried every trick I know - moisten the coffee, use extra coffee, use a finer grind, use a coarser grind, allow the water to flow through for just a second or two and then shut it off and wait a little while - nothing has given me a decent cup of coffee. Coffee is consistently weak - sort of looks like really strong tea in the cup. And I'm using dark roast coffee. It's really unfortunate. This could have been a great product for people who don't like the waste with a K-cup.

I am only reviewing now in 2011, but have used the Coffeeduck for quite some time once I tired of the cost of pods and began searching for a different option. I found the "Duck" and have not looked back. I did not try anything else mentioned (Presto, or the refillable eco-pods). Refillable pods did NOT sound convenient at all.

PROS: Cost SAVINGS vs Pods, Ease of use, Low cost of Coffeeduck.

CONS: Really, none come to mind. I'm sold.

This things leaks almost every time I use it. I get grounds in my cup most times. I tried to return it but was outside the return window.
