This is a very good fan. It is quiet and well made. I like the range that it has in vertical movement and the handle to carry it makes a difference as well. I had bought this one and one other to try in my home, and after using them for 6 months, I am buying two more of these.

We ordered the Holmes HASF1516 16" Oscillating Stand Fan with Elegant Swirl Base. We used it this past summer and were very pleased. It moves a good deal of air, has a three distinct speeds and does so a with moderate noise level. The fan noise acts as manageable "white noise" and actually mitigates the outdoor summer neighborhood sounds that can inhibit relaxing sleep.
We are very pleased with this fan.
